2018 Holy High Oakville
2018 Holy High Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon (360 Vineyard):
Aromas of sage & slate are enveloped with casis & dark cherry cream. They invite you to dive right into the glass while the fruit on the pallet veers toward the dark-side showing delicious flavors of Arapahoe black berries, blueberry, and toasted toffee. The supple tannins and clean finish call you back for more
Vintage Notes: 2018 received good rainfall in February, followed by a very long warm spring. 2018 is known for the extended hang-time offered to the Cabernet Vines in the Napa Valley. No extreme heat spikes or unseasonable cold. Just continuous warm weather with full and partial sun days allowed vines to hang on the vine deep into October developing wonderful flavor and phenolic development. This vintage offered very abundant crop loads with lots of beautiful complex cabernet coming off of the valley floor and in the hillside vineyards.
